Great video, only question is that when the cric was performed he appeared to be breathing. Why not do nasotracheal intubation at that point? I didn't hear that as an option which went through their head or was attempted.

I had the same thought while watching the video (regarding trying NP intubation). They discuss that in the comments and say that NP would be a bad idea because of the potential for epistaxis with wired shut jaw causing a mess.

I suppose if you're going to do a cric then NP would be worth a shot, good amount of phenylephrine sprayed up there first. What are anyone else's thoughts?
