nothing earth shattering, but read about a neat little trick when putting in CVL. if you are worried about correct placement, simply do a subxiphoid U/S view of heart. Flush the line. Should see turbulence in R atrium/ventricle. If you don't, then make sure to blame arterial placement on medical student.

hahaha awesome, too bad youve already dilated the artery and pt is dead, so thats a pretty good sign you fucked up too
