Dr. Bruss asked me to post this case. 82 y/o presents with AMS from rehab s/p MVA 1 week ago. First is the OLD EKG from 1 week prior when he had the MVA: then the EKG from the day of presentation with AMS Attachments:

Anytime you see the deep and flipped T waves in the precordial leads, especially v4,v5,v6you have to be concerned head bleed.

you told me you wanted to munch on a rib while i did the tedious task of suturing in the tube. your fault, not mine. I was just doing what my attending told me to do.
before i do a procedure on anyone now, i'm going to introduce myself as "tyson the toledo butcher." soothe some nerves. calm the patient right down.
